I’m an engineer at the intersection of energy field operations and software. I lead development of autopilot systems at SLB in Texas. On the side I’m building Igdrasil, a self-hosted personal agent.

I started as a wireline field engineer (tough job) — handled radioactive sources and explosives, worked in high-pressure and toxic-gas environments, endured Arctic winters and forest fires — then moved into automation technology development.

I’m a husband and a father to three girls, a sci-fi evangelist, and a decent pizzaiolo.

Led the Texas engineering effort for the Aker BP–funded autonomous wireline, slickline, and plug-setting work; hands-on on winch control, depth correlation, and power automation through the 2022 demo and early commercial runs (about 25% of ops automated, 15–40% efficiency gains).

As field-test lead then product owner, shipped the first fully autonomous end-to-end well-integrity logging job (Kuwait, Dec 2020) and first tractor automation deployment (UAE, 2021); built the downhole power-control automation that replaced manual knobs.
